How to Delete Your Account in Mantle Chat

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. The following will be removed:

• All your workspaces and chats (including archived ones)

• Your profile information and preferences

• Shared chat links

• Organization memberships

• Credits and usage data

If you have an active Pro subscription, it will be automatically canceled (no refund is issued). Your Stripe billing data is retained for legal/tax compliance.

Prerequisites

Before you can delete your account, make sure:

1. You do not own an organization with other members. If you do, transfer ownership or remove all other members first.

2. You do not own an organization with workspaces owned by other users. Transfer or delete those workspaces first.

If either condition is not met, the delete button will be disabled and a message will explain what needs to be resolved.

Steps to Delete Your Account

1. Open Settings — Click on your profile or navigate to the Settings page.

2. Go to Profile — In the settings sidebar under Account, select Profile.

3. Scroll to Account Actions — At the bottom of the Profile page, find the Delete Account section.

4. Click the red "Delete" button — This opens a confirmation dialog.

5. Review any warnings — If you have an active Pro subscription or a pending downgrade, a warning will be displayed.

6. Type the confirmation phrase — In the text input, type exactly: delete my account

7. Click "Delete Account" — The button becomes active only after you type the confirmation phrase correctly.

8. Wait for the process to complete — Your account will be deleted, your session will be cleared, and you will be redirected to the home page.
