1. Keyboard Navigation
Navigate the entire interface using keyboard shortcuts. Essential commands for quick navigation and accessibility.
Access every feature in Mantle using only your keyboard. Essential shortcuts include ⌘+⇧+O for new chat, ⌘+K for search, ⌘+B to toggle sidebar, ⌥+1-9 to switch workspaces, and ⌥+↑/↓ to navigate between chats. All shortcuts work cross-platform—⌘ becomes Ctrl on Windows/Linux, ⌥ becomes Alt.
Keyboard navigation is built into every component—use Tab to move between interactive elements, Enter to activate buttons, Esc to close dialogs and previews, and arrow keys to navigate lists and menus. The interface maintains clear focus indicators so you always know where you are.
Find all available keyboard shortcuts in Settings > Keyboard Shortcuts. Perfect for power users, accessibility needs, and anyone who prefers keyboard-first workflows.
Full keyboard support • Standard shortcuts • No mouse required
2. Screen Reader Support
Built-in screen reader compatibility with semantic HTML and ARIA labels throughout the interface.
Mantle is built with accessibility in mind, using semantic HTML elements (nav, main, section, article) and ARIA labels throughout the interface. Screen readers can navigate the application structure and understand interactive elements.
Buttons, links, and controls include descriptive aria-label attributes. The application maintains a logical heading hierarchy for easy navigation. Form inputs have associated labels for clear identification.
The interface uses standard web accessibility practices to work with screen readers like NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
ARIA labels • Semantic HTML • Proper heading structure
